Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Haana Bovaird
Students will:
• Be introduced to concepts in understanding health education. This includes studying topics of personal well-being, interpersonal skills and relationships, strategies for managing change, positive sexuality and making health enhancing decisions in drug-related situations.
• Develop positive attitudes and values towards their own and others’ well-being.
• Develop critical thinking skills and develop resilience and a sense of personal and social responsibility.
Prerequisites
At least 50 Academic Graduation Points in the Y10 English (10EN1) course, including an 'Achieved' grade or higher in the Year 10 (EN1) English end of year exam AND 50 Graduation points in Year 10 Health (10HE1)
