Course Description

This course is designed for students who wish to study a general Mathematics and Statistics course, intended for students who want to study Mathematics and Statistics course at Level 2.  

This course does not lead to Calculus at Level 2. 

A solid knowledge of Mathematics prior to Level 1 content is necessary. The content of this course will cover a mixture of both Mathematics and Statistics standards at Level 1.


Prerequisites

Overall achievement throughout Year 10 Mathematics and also in the end of year exam 

OR HoD approval



Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

*11MA2* - Supplementary costs: Approx $50
Students must have their own Scientific Calculator, however if they intend to study mathematics and statistics at Level 2 or 3, a graphics calculator is recommended.
