Course Description

The study of English Literature is compulsory at Level Two. As such, your English option will be determined by your results for English in Year 11.
12ENE Students will:
- Study a rich selection of texts taken from the canon and modern literature
- Write in a range of styles, developing their essay writing skills and producing a portfolio of writing
- Develop critical thinking skills through analysis, interpretation and evaluation
- Undertake an inquiry into a studied text, drawing conclusions and synthesising information from a range of expert sources
- Have the opportunity to achieve 22 credits in Level Two English
Prerequisites
Must have passed all internal and external standards from Level 1 MCEA English with Merit or Excellence.
