Course Description

The 13MAGnet Mechatronics course is run in partnership with Unitec. This would suit students who have an interest in electrical and mechanical systems, and robotics. Students spend one day a week at Unitec, this is a hands on course that will work towards approximately 15 Level 3 credits.
This course will run at Unitec Mt Albert Campus on a Wednesday from 8.30am - 3pm. Students will need to be willing to catch up on work from other lessons that they miss on the Wednesday. They will be provided with tutorials during the school week to help with this. Students and whānau will need to show a commitment to attendance in this course. Please register your interest in this subject by selecting it.
Prerequisites
There are no Prerequisites for this course.
However, there are limited places available each year and students maybe subject to Deans/DP approval.
There is also further acknowledgement of commitment that is required by both parents and the student taking this course. An email will be sent to students that select this course and both student and parents are required to make a commitment to the course and attendance. This must be made before a place can be confirmed on this course.
