13 Mathematics with Calculus 1

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Satish Kumar

This course is designed for those students who intend to study Mathematics, Engineering, Science and similar technological careers at tertiary level. Calculus develops practical skills in differential and integral calculus. It is intended to illustrate various applications of calculus to technical problems.

The theory of differentiation and integration will be enhanced and the application of these processes to real world situations will be included. Pupils can expect to explore trigonometric graphs by modelling situations through internal assessment.

Prerequisites

*12MC1 or 10MTA*: Achieved in at least four of the six standards including a Merit in AS91261 (Algebra) and Merit in AS91262 (Calculus)

OR HoD approval.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
