Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Alayna Pulham.
This is a rigorously academic course, which covers all the Level 2 External Achievement Standards: Atomic structure and bonding, Organic and Chemical Reactivity. Only one internal standard is completed in this course, oxidation and reduction.
Prerequisites
Students must have achieved at least one ‘Merit’ or above and one ‘Achieved’ or above grades in the External Achievement standards in Level 1 Chemistry papers from 11SD1.
A student coming from the 11SI1 course must have gained at least a Merit grade in the Science Achievement Standard (Acids and Bases) and a Merit in one other Science standard.
