11DR1 Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Carmela Hughes.
PrerequisitesNo specific prerequisite, but a decent amount of reading and writing is required, so confidence in English in needed.
Level 1 Drama offers students a range of assessment opportunities in performance, script-writing, improvisation, and theory.
Throughout the year you will:
> Write and devise your own plays
> Watch and respond to a professional production outside of school
> Direct and perform scenes from a play
> Study and practice a range of different theatre forms
> Do a class production open to the public
