Course Description

LIFT (Learning Intensively for Future Training) teaches skills that are linked to life experience and the academic needs of the workplace.  The course involves a series of tasks related to unit standards in literacy, numeracy, financial literacy, career planning, employment skills and self-management. Teachers help, guide and encourage individual excellence. 

  • The programme begins at Year 11 and continues to Year 13 but a student may begin at any level.
  • Students may occasionally require materials from home, e.g. cooking ingredients

The standards listed below will form the basis for the student portfolio. 

Alternative and additional standards from the same domains may be added
