Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr B. Corkery

Students will work on an individual interpretation of a given theme. Students will study a range of artist models and apply the knowledge skills and techniques learnt into their own work.


Students will:
Use drawing methods and skills for recording information using wet and dry media
Produce a body of work informed by established practice, which develops ideas, using a range of media
Produce a finished work that demonstrates skills appropriate to cultural conventions


This course is designed to lead on into 12 Painting, 12 Design or 12 Photography

11PN1 - Supplementary costs: Approx $110
Includes a take home paint set and wider variety of class resources.


Prerequisites

All units passed in Year 10 Art with Achieved or better

Preference is given to students who completed at least 1 semester of year 10 Art over those who have not.
