Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms C. Calvert

Students will:

• Study film, a Shakespearian play and either a novel or short texts
• Develop a love of literature through reading and viewing a range of texts from a variety of authors and cultures
• Write in a range of styles, developing their essay writing skills and producing a portfolio of writing

Prerequisites

At least 19 credits in Level 1 English of which 12 credits are from Level 1 externally assessed English standards. All internal and external standards from Level 1 English must be at Merit or Excellence.
