Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr G. Urquhart

Students will:

• Learn to use Drama elements and conventions to devise and create performances
• Explore contemporary theatre practitioners, with particular reference to Stanislavski
• Attend at least one live theatre performance
• Present a class production which will be performed to an invited audience

Prerequisites

Completion of the Year 9 Drama Academy course AND HoD approval. 

Confidence needs to be had the student can gain Excellence Endorsement in Level 1 as part of an accelerated programme.
